HOW TO GET HERE

DIRECTIONS

From I-26, about 35 miles south of Asheville, NC... Take I-26 Exit #67 (Columbus / Tryon) and turn east onto Highway 74.  Drive 1.4 miles and take Exit #163.  Turn left onto Highway 108.  Go 3.2 miles to the stoplight in Mill Springs. Turn left onto Highway 9.  Drive about 9 miles and turn right onto Highway 64/74A.  Proceed 2.6 miles (road is curvy). Turn left onto Bill's Creek Road, at the log cabin. Go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road, at Dalton's General Store. Drive 1.5 miles to Apple Valley Farm on the left.

Note:  Route 74A between Asheville and Lake Lure has many switchbacks and this route is not recommended for motorhomes.

From I-40, near Marion, NC... Take I-40 Exit #85, Highway 221 and turn south off the exit ramp. Go 19 miles and exit at Highway 64/74A West. Proceed west 13 miles and turn right onto Bill's Creek Road, at the log cabin. Go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road, at Dalton's General Store. Drive 1.5 miles to Apple Valley Farm on the left.

From I-85 near Kings Mountain, NC... Take I-85 Exit #10.  Proceed west on Highway 74. Drive about 35 miles and take Exit #181 onto Highway Alt. 74. Continue on West 74A (through Rutherfordton) for about 21 miles. Turn right onto Bill's Creek Road, at the log cabin. Go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road, at Dalton's General Store. Drive 1.5 miles to Apple Valley Farm on the left.
